You will only be required to pay the joining fee if you have passed your Discovery Week, so congratulations if that is you! You are now one step closer to becoming a brilliant Early Years Practitioner.

How to get started

In order to take the next steps you will need to head to your app and complete the following steps:

  1. Sign your Offer Commitments.

  2. Pay the required Joining fee.

Why do I need to do this?

This is a crucial step as it signals to us, at tiney, that you are committed to the next part of your journey and you are ready to put in the hard work in order to achieve your goals.

The joining fee is part of this commitment and is the only cost you will be paying to tiney — as a reminder we cover the majority of your set up costs including:

  • 50+ hours of bespoke training

  • Marketing materials

  • Insurance and more

Can I delay the payment?

We understand that you may not have the £300 fee immediately and therefore we are able to hold your place while you acquire the money but please bear in mind the following:

  • We will need you to confirm the date you intend to pay and start your training.

  • We can only hold your place for a maximum of 4 weeks.

  • You will need adequate finances in order to pay for a Health Check with your GP, your paediatric first aid course, DBS checks and home set up costs.

Please make us aware

If you have concerns about paying the fee or questions about the next steps after Discovery Week then please do not hesitate to contact one of our Advisors. We are more than happy to assist as best we can!

Is this fee refundable?

This joining fee is non-refundable. Even for the following reasons:

  • You fail a learning review in the training or any part of their journey (pre-reg call, registration visit etc) and are withdrawn from the training.

  • You fail safeguarding at any point.

  • You are unable to continue due to a change in personal circumstances of any nature.

We can refund this fee if your landlord denies permission, but we will need to see documented proof of this.
