This article contains information about tiney's current loyalty offer. This has been in place since February 2023, and is the only active offer at present. We reserve the right to change this with notice given.
What is the offer?
tiney's standard fee for new childminders is 12%. Once a setting's total fee-paying income hits a threshold, we offer to reduce our fee to 8% upon acceptance of this offer. This reduction is permanent, and based on a couple of conditions:
You must have hit the earnings threshold applicable to your setting (detailed below).
You must commit to staying with tiney for at least 12 months from the date you accept the offer. If you choose not to continue with tiney during that period, we reserve the right to re-apply your original fee and charge you the difference.
What's the threshold?
We have three different thresholds, and these are based on the number of registered childminders in a setting.

These are all calculated using your fee-paying income only. This means that any payments you receive which are not subject to tiney's fee (e.g. payments for certain funding types) don't count towards this total.
How is the offer applied?
Once you've hit the earnings total, we'll get in touch to offer you the fee reduction, with the condition that you remain with tiney for 12 months from that date. We'll need your agreement in writing, so even if you discuss this with one of our team over the phone, we'll send you the information via the app, and ask you to respond there so there's a written record.
The reduction will then be applied to all fees on payments made to you through tiney from the date of your agreement.
