tiney's loyalty offer

We want to celebrate your success, and one way we do that is by offering you a permanent reduction in our service charge once your setting hits a certain earnings threshold. We'll be in touch with more details when you're eligible, and the new service charge will apply from the date of your acceptance.

tiney's standard service charge for new childminders is 12%. Once the criteria are met, we'll offer to decrease it to 8%.

Eligibility for the offer is based on a setting's total fee-paying earnings since joining tiney.

This threshold differs depending on the number of registered childminders working in a setting:

If you've been working solo and have had your fee reduced during that time, you'll keep that lower rate if you then partner up with another childminder to form a joint setting.

Most of the payments you receive for childcare are subject to tiney's service charge, and those payments all count towards your earnings threshold.

Any payments which are exempt from that charge (e.g. payments for certain funding types or grants) don't count towards this total.

Once you've hit the applicable threshold, we'll get in touch to offer you the fee reduction. We'll need your agreement in writing, so even if you discuss this with one of our team over the phone, we'll send you the information via the app and ask you to respond there so there's a written record.

The reduction will take effect from the date of your written agreement.

The loyalty offer is the only path to a reduction in our service charge: our fee is applied in the same way across all tiney childminders, to keep things fair for everyone.
