With this new feature, you can:
Change the weekly care schedule
Amend your rates and fees
Change the contract type
Change to use Funded Hours
Change to use Student Finance
Change between Standard and Flexible contracts
The app will carry over the guardian and child details from the original contract, so there’s no need to re-enter them. If the child is using funding, you’ll be prompted to enter the funding code and guardian’s National Insurance number to check eligibility.
When to use this feature
You might need to update a contract for a child already in your care if:
They’re starting to use funding
They’re increasing their funded hours from September 2025
Their care schedule is changing
You’re changing your rates or fees
You want to use our new consumable fees instead of subsistence fees
They’re starting school and moving to wraparound or ad hoc care
You want to update your holiday terms or rates
How to find this in the app
From your Home Screen, tap the + in the top right corner, then:
Start a new contract
Update an existing contract
Get started, then select the child’s name and follow the steps.
You can leave the contract at any time and the app will save your progress. You can resume a contract by going to your 'In progress' contracts, and scroll down to 'Updates'.
What happens next
Once you’ve signed the updated contract, it’s sent to the guardian to sign, just like when you create a new contract. They’ll also be asked to check their child passport details. When the guardian signs, the new schedule is updated automatically.
Any drafted or unpaid invoices from the contract start date onward will be automatically updated with the new schedule and fees.
If there's something you'd like to include in your contract that the app doesn't cover, you can let us know about any Extra Requirements at the end of the Contract Builder. Submit these for the team to review, and where necessary, we'll create a manual contract for you. NB this may take a few days to be processed.
