What your advanced payment covers

At tiney we ask for an advance payment to hold your place at a tiney home, and this will be stated in the contract itself.

This payment is usually your first month's care paid in advance, though this will vary depending on what date in the month your child is due to begin care. If your contract is flexible, the advance payment will be for the first amount agreed with your childminder.

Without the advance payment, your tiney childminder reserves the right to give your place to another family who has made an advance payment. This payment will be invoiced upon signature of the contract and is payable immediately, unless otherwise agreed with your childminder.

Part or all of the advance payment may be refundable if you cancel your contract within the 14-day cooling-off period, which begins when you sign. Payment for scheduled days of care up to the termination date will be retained.
