All tiney childminders go through a rigorous and mandatory set of background checks as part of their onboarding with the agency. These include:

  • Local Authority background checks

  • Known to Ofsted checks

  • Enhanced DBS checks for them and every member of their household over the age of 16

Tiney childminders are also required to undergo paediatric first aid training and a GP health check.

Your childminder should have their certificates clearly displayed within their setting. If you can’t see them, be sure to ask them to show you.
